Project Results

  • Youth Engagement Plan and Framework: The Youth Engagement Plan and Framework is a valuable resource that provides in-depth information and practical strategies for engaging youth effectively.
  • Research Report Needs of Young People in Policy Dialogue: The study report will focus on the needs of young people and will be based on the results obtained from a survey conducted as part of the Structured Dialogue Process overseen by the National Youth Councils in Europe.
  • Toolkit with Practices of promoting Youth leadership in Europe: It provides guidance for fostering youth participation and incorporates the ideas, concepts, and good practices outlined in the Youth Participation Strategy.
  • Youth Engagement Academy Platform: The platform will focus on increasing youth participation in EU Youth Policy Making. It will consist of a curriculum with nine thematic modules, which will be tested in separate workshops.
  • Curriculum with 9 Modules: The curriculum of the Youth Engagement Academy consists of nine modules aimed at building the capacities of youth. The curriculum aims to equip young people with knowledge, skills, and practical tools to actively participate in democratic processes and become advocates for EU Youth Policy.

Project activities

  • Training in Croatia: the title of the training is “Being a Europe Change Maker”. It aims to empower young people to become change makers in their communities and beyond, with a specific focus on their participation in the EU. The goal of the activity is to mentor and motivate these individuals to make a positive impact in their local communities across Europe, thus becoming Change Makers.
  • Dialogue of youth-representatives of youth councils and decision makers in Sweden: The main topics of discussion will revolve around how youth policy is decided at different levels (European, national, and regional), ensuring that youth voices are heard throughout policy processes, the neutrality of European politics in representing all young people, and how to ensure the transfer of European values into youth policies.
  • Youth Lab in Romania: A Youth Lab focused on understanding the functioning of democratic institutions and the roles of decision-makers. The main topics of discussion will include exploring the nature of democratic institutions, examining how young citizens can engage in the decision-making process of EU policymaking, understanding the democratic framework, and exploring potential adaptations to existing democratic institutions to enhance participatory democracy while delivering economic benefits to youth and society as a whole.
  • 18 Testing Workshops: 9 Testing Workshops on the topics of the Modules organizations: Architecture and Thematic Formation and 9 Testing Workshops on the topics of the Modules organizations: set up and implementation.
  • Final Debate Conference in Romania: An open Final Conference will be organized and implemented in Romania, at the end of the project with the title of “From young people in preparation to active social agents in Europe by Youth Ambassadors”.
